MIAA set to launch Oplan Undas early
The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) is prepared to set Oplan Undas next week.
MIAA General Manager Ed Monreal said, they are coordinating with all concerned agencies within NAIA to help organize things that need attention.
To avoid congestion, airline companies will adjust the time in opening check-in counters.
All airline check-in counters for domestic flights will open 2 hours before departure and 3 hours for international flights.
All airline counters will be closed 40 minutes before departures.
“Airline companies should implement the proper closing procedures and they must be sensitive to situations where they can accommodate not-so-late passengers,” Monreal said.
MIAA will implement the ‘no pocket policy’ to all baggage loaders to avoid pilferage.
Passengers going to the airport are also advised to use the NAIA Expressway to avoid traffic congestion around NAIA complex.
